The machine parts mainly  composed of  power supply,  transmission device, actuators and control system.Power source is dynamic mechanical that transfer other forms of energy into mechanical energy.Such as internal combustion engine, motor, hydraulic motor and so on.The function of the machine is to provide the work  ability. Transmission device is to transfer the power supply output power and the movement of the actuator to the middle device, its function is to transfer power, speed up , slowed down and variable speed,change the form of  movement, etc.

Actuator is directly in contact with the target body, its function is  change the object's shape, location and so on.through the mechanical movement.The function of the control system is to controll the whole machine, so that the power supply, the transmission system and actuator coordinated operation and complete each other on the machine work.

Gear motor is a kind of mechanical transmission device,which is  is generally located between the actuators and prime mover.Gear motor with compact outside dimensions, good lubrication,  high efficiency and running accuracy,long lifespan,small noice and safe so that gear motor is widely used.In current,Gear motor has become a specialized motor parts,  design and manufacturing by a professional manufacturer,Common gear motors have been  used standardized, normalized and series, the user can select the appropriate gear motor according to their working conditions.The structure of the gear motor varies according to the different in their types and needs.
But in general,gear motor are made by the body ,axis and the shaft parts, bearing parts, lubrication sealing device and reducer accessories etc.

There are many kinds of gear motors,according to the type of time-sharing transmission can be divided into gear motors, worm gear motor and planetary gear motor .According to the shape of the gear can be divided into cylindrical gear motors, gear motors and tapered conical - cylindrical gear motor. according to time-sharing transmission can be divided into single-stage and multi-stage gear reduction motor.  

                                             
The body of gearbox must  have enough rigidity,big deformation in the process that affect  transmission accuracy are not allowed.To ensure the rigidity,the body must have enought wall thickness and  stiffened plate in the bearing accessories.
